Pest Control – Spiders
Spiders can be repelled using natural products such as lemon, pine, and eucalyptus scents. Spiders don’t care for these fragrances and they will not come back, to avoid them. When these extermination fragrances are put in places that spiders usually hang out, like doors and windowsills, they are very efficient in repelling them. To eliminate the spiders’ entry into your home to begin with, clean these areas thoroughly with the scents. To keep spiders from entering the home, the outside perimeter is treated with a good spraying of these scents.
Some insect repellents are available in powder form. The powder is dispersed around the outside of the home and exterminates spiders before they gain entry. Insecticide powder should not be used inside the home as some people may be allergic to the ingredients.
It is important to eliminate old nests and webs to avoid propagating more spiders. A complete sweeping and dusting of corners, beneath the furniture and in-between spaces, removes these pests and their eggs from your house. The use of a lemon or pine fragrance oil or cleaning solution is strongly recommended. Keep your windows and door sills tight to get rid of spiders; this will not leave them any space to come into your home. For effective spider extermination, any cracks in the house’s walls should be sealed.
Keep your outdoor lights off unless needed, because insects such as spiders are drawn to light sources at night. Also, to reject spiders, all exterior lights by the garage or porch should be turned off. Using methods open and known to them, a pest control expert can cure your home of serious spider infestations. These methods consist of fumigating, as well
other ways to exterminate.
